University of Illinois Springfield Police Department reported responding to the following incidents for the period of Oct. 10 to Oct. 17
10/12/2016 8:39 a.m. at Foxglove Court
An officer dispatched on report from RA regarding a subject possibly cutting his arms. Officer arrived on scene and found no evidence of injury. Subject was then taken to counseling services on campus.
10/12/2016 3:30 p.m.
An officer took a theft report.
Drug Law Violation
10/12/2016 at Bluebell Court
Officers dispatched to above location in regards to a strong smell of cannabis. A report was completed.
10/13/2016 8:48 a.m. at the Public Affairs Center
While conducting a foot patrol, an officer smelled smoke and learned that a small fire occurred at the above location. The fire was extinguished and a report was written.
10/13/2016 12:00 p.m. at the Public Affairs Center
An officer responded to the above location for a threatening phone call. A report was completed.
10/15/2016 12:52 a.m. at Trillium Court
While conducting a foot patrol, an officer discovered a party with too many people inside the apartment. The party was dispersed, and a report was written.
10/15/2016 1:05 a.m. at Larkspur Court
Officers were dispatched for ongoing problem regarding individuals egging his apartment. A report was written.
