Everybody Scream for the UIS Fall Fright Night

Are you a wizard with a makeup brush? Do you have a knack for screeching and cackling? Is your dream to build sets for horror movies? The annual Fall Fright Night is fast approaching, and they are in need of volunteers for every aspect of the scary event. There is a call for make-up artists, actors to scare, tour guide actors, event planners, and a set crew to set up and tear down. Every set of hands is needed, and feel free to bring friends along to help scare your fellow students!

There will be two haunted locations this year: Brookens Library and the Student Union. Students will have the chance to feel good, old-fashioned fear by wandering through the spooky passages. Tour guides will lead them through horrific scenes and past terrifying actors through the transformed library and union. However, some of the most terrifying experiences are when students encounter their professors within the decrepit walls, and they whisper deadlines at you while dressed as monstrous creatures. This haunted experience will leave participants feeling spooked for days to come.

This event will take place on October 18. The Haunted Union runs from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. The Haunted Library will run from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. In years past, the turnout has always been massive, so be sure to plan accordingly.
