University of Illinois Springfield Police Department reported responding to the following incidents for the period of Oct. 3rd to Oct. 14th

Suicidal Subject

10/08/2019 10:05 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the above location for a report of a suicide attempt, the subject was transported by ambulance to a hospital. Please contact 1-800-273-8255 for the suicide hotline and utilize on-campus counseling services if in need of help.

Patrol Investigation

10/10/2019 2:19 p.m. at Public Affairs Center – by phone

Individuals came to the UIS Police Department to make a report about a subject in another country making threats towards US citizens.

Drug Law Violation

10/13/2019 9:03 p.m. at Pennyroyal Court

An officer was dispatched to the above location to investigate a report of cannabis use. The officer found no illegal activity.

Accident-Property Damage

10/14/2019 at Pennyroyal Court

An officer was dispatched to the above location for a vehicle stuck on a rock, the vehicle had sustained damage in the incident. The vehicle was towed out of its position.
