Filippa Lagerback appears for 210 seconds per episode. Yet Samira Lui is making the news
About three and a half minutes. It’s the time that Filippa Lagerback manages to conquer weekly on “Che tempo che fa”. The data refers to the November 16th episode, but if one were to compare it with that relating to the other appointments one would not notice any difference.
Three minutes and thirty. Two hundred and ten seconds. That is, the period of presence of the Swedish showgirl on stage within the program, which however does not necessarily correspond to that of her interventions. Yes, because in some cases she appears accompanied by Fabio Fazio, who often ‘snatches’ the introduction of the guest on duty, allowing her to share the task as much as possible.
Filippa is at least given the privilege of opening the program, with a rigorously recorded block that sees her driving a big car that stops in front of the studio entrance. Nothing more than a product placement which is followed by his arrival at the station, in the classic chair facing the host from where he can make his (quick) presentations.
After the opening 30 seconds, on Sunday in “Che tempo che fare” Lagerback had 15 seconds available to welcome Don Davide Banzato, 7 seconds for Michele Serra and “well” 21 for Alberto Mantovani and Roberto Burioni. In fact, his solo record, like those granted to bring Alessandro Gassmann and Luisa Ranieri into the studio, in promotion for the film “Christmas without Santa”.
The latter, in fact, dropped to 17 in the part dedicated to politics and current affairs with Massimo Giannini, Corrado Formigli and Carlo Cottarelli and to 16 in the moment of the collective embrace of Gino Cecchettin.
The segment in which Filippa was most included was the one dedicated to Renato Zero. It’s just a shame that in this case it was Fazio who spoke more than her, relegated to a simple sidekick.
Lagerback, however, literally disappeared when, surprisingly, Jannik Sinner appeared on the mega-screen, fresh from his triumph at the ATP Finals in Turin. The (small) consolation – of just 10 seconds – came shortly after with Luciana Littizzetto, while in the quick face-to-face between Fazio and Iva Zanicchi Filippa was simply framed, sitting behind the two. An abandoned position at the beginning of the ‘Table’, where she does not stop, systematically disappearing.
Give Filippa Lagerback something to say and do
Yet it is Samira Lui who is criticized
Calculator in hand, Lagerback ‘occupied’ 1.1% of the total duration (304 minutes) and, faced with this count, the comparison with Samira Lui, who has been criticized and contested for months for her support within “Wheel of Fortune”, cannot fail to spring to mind.
Painted as a simple “box-turner” at the service of the owner of the house, Lui has in reality put aside the role of valet to effectively become second voice in the Canale 5 game. For Gerry Scotti a real support, who spares no jokes and irony, often even becoming an ‘autocorrect’ of the competitor who makes a mistake in giving the right solution.
Yet, Samira is more in the news – perhaps because of some daring dress – than Filippa relegated to the perennial ‘game of silence’.
